Hypothesis:

 

In my survey, I chose to play off of all of my questions. The one that I played off most though, was "How does second hand smoke affect you emotionally?" I chose this one because I think this one gets over looked the most. The question that I put on the survey was "Smoking can affect:" and the answer choices were A. Family, B. Physical being, C. Health, D. Emotions, E. Metal being. The results that I think will come out of this, is that more people will put health and physical being. I don't think many people will think that it will affect your emotions.

 

Context:

 

When handing out the survey, I wanted to target high school students that go to early college and people that are around smokers. I chose the early college students because we are around smoke when we walk around campus. I chose people that are around smokers because I feel that they have a strong opinion of smoking and they would be best to survey. I think my results are valid because I had people being truthful and saying they are smokers. People were being very truthful and actually taking the surveys seriously. I don't think I have any information is invalid or skewed because I made sure that if they weren't taking the survey seriously, I wouldn't count their responses.
